July 11, 2018 (Wednesday):
- 5:00-7:00 pm Packet pickup at Kidd Brewer Stadium (West side) at Appalachian State University, Boone, NC
July 12, 2018 (Thursday):
- 5:00-6:30 pm Packet pickup at the corner of 105/221 in Linville, NC
- 5:50 pm Spectators with parking passes leave Linville for the Grandfather Mountain gate
- 6:30 pm T-shirt size exchange begins
- 7:00 pm Race begins
- 7:00 pm Grandfather Mountain Gate closes to spectators – NO EXCEPTIONS!
- 7:50 pm Any runners not to mile 3 will be picked up
- 7:30 pm Runners and spectators can walk down to their cars on lower lots
- 8:30 pm No one is allowed to walk down the road from this time. You must take the shuttles to the lower lots and start line area
- 9:00 pm Mountain clear of runners, spectators and officials
